Out of all of the skills college has tossed in my backpack thus far, I really wish I’d been better informed of the proper procedure to handle seven mini Snickers bars in your mouth. My budding-photog-friend Gerri Villoria asked my roommate, Erin, and I to help him out with a shoot for his photography class at the Art Institute. When he said it would be inspired by a modern take on the famous chocolate factory scene from I Love Lucy, we were convinced. Although I’ve recently gotten used to being behind the camera, I remembered how much fun a studio shoot is from the other side of the lens.
